These projects are being implemented in accordance with World Bank Environmental and Social Standards. As part of this, the CAUSE II project wants to make sure that communities and neighbourhoods close to these activities have opportunities to document and discuss any concerns or suggestions they may have.
The project team needs to understand the local environment and identify potential impacts from the works, such as impacts on fences, gardens, private property, or changes to community access.
In particular, we wish to talk to any community members who are concerned that they will be directly impacted or made vulnerable by the proposed project activities, including women, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Members of the CAUSE II team will be visiting project sites and engaging with community members in the weeks of 19-20 November 2025.
In addition, members of the project team will be available to discuss the projects at two community drop-in sessions. Information on potential local employment opportunities related to these works will also be available.
These sessions will be held on:
• Wednesday, 19th of November 2025, between 4 and 7 pm - West Side – Rove Bulk Shop
• Thursday, 20th of November 2025, between 4 and 7 pm - East Side – HCC Area
• Refreshments will be available.
